
Training Delivery Models
There is no limit to the variety of delivery models that can be customised to your organisation’s needs. Some examples of delivery models we offer include:
Corporate Short Course – focused on a particular subject or issue.
These short courses could be delivered as a half or full day training that covers a specific need in your organisation. That course might be a Manual Handling or ASIC requirements that is required for industry accreditation, it might be a two day DISC or Meyer Briggs analysis that identifies personality types and preferences that underpins and supports cultural change in the organisation or it might be a specific topic that covers a skills shortage or up skill requirement throughout the organisation such as operational planning or dealing with difficult customers. Whatever your requirement might be, ITCC can customise a program to meet your needs.
Training Workshop – delivered in our training room or at your workplace in groups.
Training delivered entirely as group workshops with workbooks containing some assessments and other assessments completed by workplace project by a specific time.

One-On-One Model – delivered in the workplace.
This method is usually delivered one unit at a time or by module (clustered units of like or complementing subjects) face to face. This method assumes that the participant is in the work place with knowledge and skills relating to the disciplines contained in the course. Assessment would include “Recognition of Current Competence” in the workplace and informal projects and collection of workplace evidence.

Minimises time out of workplace therefore no back fill issues

Blended – training workshop and workplace assessment.
This method works very well for management who are looking for refreshers, joint sessions with co-workers or sessions where a specific discipline or technique is being implemented for the first time. An organisation going through cultural or operational change, are excellent examples. The workshop sessions may be conducted by in-house trainers or by our highly competent and qualified ITCC trainers.
Single or clustered units would be delivered as workshop modules at your workplace or in an ITCC training room. The workshop sessions would include a workplace project using stories, situations, current programs or initiatives, policies and procedures relevant and collected in the existing workplace.
Note: This is also a particularly good method for new employees who attend compulsory 5 or 10 day induction before entering the live workplace environment. The learning takes place in the workshops; the assessment takes place in the workplace to ensure that the learning is achieved and applied in the day to day tasks and communication.

Remote supported training
This method is a flexible option for those participants who may live in a regional or remote areas where getting to workshops is difficult or for people who find it difficult to get away from work or keep a rigid commitment.
Participants will receive course workbooks along with clear instructions and receive support from a committed and qualified training mentor. The participants will receive regular telephone an email support while working through the course as well as opportunity to make contact at any time. This support would include course mentoring and advice along with motivational support. Quarterly face to face visits are an optional extra service.

Public Short Courses – non-accredited or accredited
These subject specific courses are offered according to set timetable and location. These short courses may contain one or more units that address specific and are commonly mapped to a unit of competency contained within a qualification.
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance or a Statement of Attainment if the project or workplace assessment is completed. The Statement of Attainment can then be used to Credit Transfer one or more unit/s of competency in a valid qualification.
Departmental or Individual Needs and Skills Analysis
This is a valued added service for current clients (conditions apply).
Before beginning a Business or Departmental Skills Audit, ITCC will discuss and view your organisational or departmental strategy to ensure full understanding of specific requirements within each business unit or department.
ITCC will conduct a departmental or individual skills audit that identifies needs and skills gaps and/or individual skills or qualification gaps. A collated report will be presented and discussed to pave a way forward through training, mentoring and coaching via a delivery model that works best for you. The service includes discussion and review of strategies, printing and distribution of skills audits or face-to-face interviews with employees, collection of audits, collation and analysis of results followed up with a report.
The cost of the needs and skills analysis often results in a full rebate, should the analysis result in on-going services (conditions apply).
