Why should I do this course?

Gone are the days whereby project planning was just for engineers. Staff across all industries are required to manage and plan projects and often this is done with little or no previous experience.
 

This project management course is designed for participants who want to understand the project management concept and combines project theory with the practical knowledge needed in the workplace. It has been designed for project team members, people who are new to project management, operational people with project management as part of their role, marketing coordinators and other participants who may be seeking to acquire the skills involved in these roles.

 Jo Perkins is an experienced Human Resources professional, consultant and facilitator.  With over 15 years experience in managing and delivering Human Resources functions, with a particular focus on organisational development, she has worked in various senior HR roles for a number of global and multinational companies both here and in the UK.

Pathway to further education and qualifications

This project management course is linked to individual competencies within a Project Management qualification and can lead to further postgraduate studies if you have at least 5 years experience. Course notes will be provided which can be utilised as a reference point once back at work.
