Why ITCC?

ITCC has a great reputation of providing qualifications for personal and professional development. Being on UOW Campus is a bonus.

What did you like most about your study with ITCC?

Resources, materials are all taken care of. No hidden surprises, everything is transparent.

What was the most valuable thing you learnt?

To improve my skills as a trainer and assessor. Having a PhD has provided me with one set of skills and the Cert IV has also allowed me to develop a new set of skills so that I am a lot more confident in training industry specific individuals.

What has been the highlight of your study?

The trainer was fantastic: knowledgeable and great communicator. Very approachable.

How will you apply your qualification to your job/business?

RFNSW is a not for profit, non clinical service for individuals with mental illness. I would use my qualification to provide the best training for my service and support workers, as they are the frontline staff who need the most up to date information to provide the best care for our clients.

Why ITCC?

Close to home, close to work – good environment at UOW.
Looked over the website – reputation & quality of teaching seemed of a high standard.

What did you like most about your study with ITCC?
Trainer was very professional & engaging. Content was thorough.

What was the most valuable thing you learnt?
1. How I can use Training Packages to support the development of subjects within my workplace.
2. I also found it incredibly valuable to review adult learning theories and the different styles of learning, as this is something you may lose tough with if you begin to grow complacent with your teaching.

What has been the highlight of your study?
Interacting with a diverse group of learners
I entered this course expecting to improve my skills and learn correct assessment methods. This expectation was met, however I also learned so much about my own teaching/training methods and how to improve my presentation methods – my expectations were exceeded.

How will you apply your qualification to your job / business?
I hope to be able to use Training Packages to structure training & assessments with subjects topics not yet developed in the subjects I teach.
